How Our SGE Lifeguard Training Certification Works 

This course is considered a blended learning experience with online modules and in person training. The online modules are to be completed at the participant's own pace prior to the training start date. The in-class time is approximately 21 hours, spread over 3 days in order to hit requirments. This is the most widely used, cost effective, and time effective strategy.

Terms & Conditions

1. Payment

   • Full payment is required to secure enrollment in the selected course.

   • For corporate clients, invoices will be issued and must be paid in full prior to the start of training.

   • Participants will not be permitted to commence training until payment is received.

2. Cancellation by Participant

   • Cancellations made 7 days or more prior to the scheduled start date will be eligible for a full refund or may reschedule without penalty.

   • Cancellations made 3–6 days prior to the scheduled start date will be eligible for a 50% refund, or the option to reschedule once (subject to course availability).

   • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled start date, or failure to attend, will result in forfeiture of all fees paid.
     
     

3. Course Completion Requirements

   • Participants must attend all scheduled sessions, complete all required course components, and successfully pass all skills and written assessments (where applicable) to receive certification.

   • In cases where participants fail to meet certification requirements, refunds will not be issued.
     
     

4. Cancellation by Lifeguard Bahamas

   • In the event of cancellation or postponement by Lifeguard Bahamas due to weather, equipment issues, or instructor unavailability, participants will be entitled to a full refund or reschedule at no additional cost.
